Subscription content is a relatively new idea that's taking off mainly because it makes so much sense. You basically subscribe; pay a negotiated (depending on your needs) smaller but regular fee to get content made regularly - regularity being such an important part of how content works.
Shooting once a month seems to work well, but it could be weekly or even daily depending on the business. There are some people we do this for already. We'd like to do more of it. Capturing images for social media, or your website. But subscribing isn't the only cool part of the idea. What if we just work for the businesses in the local area? What if it was places we only went by bike ? What if it was lots of little clients rather than a handful of big ones? You'd have a really low impact, community focussed, zero carbon business. That's what.
A regular route travelled by bicycle with a camera slung over the shoulder visiting local businesses gathering content. Nice and simple. No petrol. No parking. No overheads. Easier. More convenient. Really cost effective. The smaller scale informs the look of work too, nice and authentic, mostly available light. Beautiful documentary style content of your central Auckland business created by somebody who turns up regularly and works for your neighbours too.
Like a milkman with a camera.

"Not only has Paul been a client for over 20 years, he’s the perfect person to shoot photos and videos of our barber shop. He’s helping us curate our team profiles and generating a stockpile of quality content for social media and the website. Paul’s insight into our vibe and how we look means he gets it every time. We love the way he just pops in for few minutes and inconspicuously captures the shop in its natural awesomeness, not staged but seamlessly."
